Family Fun

From the time you arrive at the Regal Point Elk Farm you know that you are in for a very special experience. Once you park your car you will proceed to the wagon and prepare for the one kilometre trip to the sugar shack.
The first thing you will notice is the sign. In 2013 this project was awarded “the most unique sign in Canada” by Sign Canada. See if you can find the hidden pictures and check out the family tree.

Enjoy the view of over 100 magnificent Elk as you pass by their fields on the way to the sugar shack. Once at the shack you will be greeted by a very friendly Rotarion who will give you the inside track on the many fun activities available to you and your family.
Most likely you will head over to the dining hall for a wonderful pancake meal. For something special try the peaches and cream. Real peaches and real whipped cream! For the kids try the kids gourmet meal, they will love it!
You will enjoy the insulated, heated 70 seat dining hall complete with attached kitchen. Cozy up to the wood stove and enjoy the view of the sugar bush as the wall facing the bush is all glass.

Time to burn off calories! Again this year is Mt. Haymore, a climbing, sliding mountian of fun. Then check out the Willie Walk with the hidden Willie characters along the bush trail. Bush Play, Black Hole Trail, and much more await your arrival.
Then when you are ready for another taste treat go to the General Store were you can try Maple Taffy on snow and  Maple Candy Floss. Enjoy the scrumptious Waffle on a stick with fresh maple syrup. Combine this with your favourite hot beverage.

At 11:30 we will be seeing who is the champion log sawing team. You can fine tune your skills earlier and then bring your best game to the competition. Fun to watch, more fun to do!

Continuous tours are happening with Mike Robinson showing the latest in Maple Syrup production equipment. See Ontario’s first Electric steam evaporator.  It is the most energy efficient production of Maple Syrup.

Before you board the wagon for the last trip back to your car, stop into the General Store and stock up on Maple Syrup made right here and Elk meat products that you can enjoy back home.

The Wiarton Rotary Club hopes you will enjoy Maple Magic. We thank you for your support and look forward to seeing you each and every year at Maple Magic!
