The Rotary Club of Wiarton's THIRD Annual Amazing Race
Remember the Previous Amazing Races.....
Back for more FUN on June 10, 2017.
Here are the details:
It is a 5 km cross country race through the fields and forests of Regal Point Elk Farm and the Grey Sauble Conservation Authority, with no pavement or cars; just you and Mother Nature.
It has 10 of the most fun and challenging events. Test your speed, strength, agility, visual recognition, problem solving and memory skills.
Early Bird Registration
The Early Bird Registration price of $90 per team will be in effect all during the Rotary Club of Wiarton's Maple Magic Event. It opens on March 18 at 9:00am and closes at 1:00pm on March 26. Don't delay. Register today!! Just click on the Register Your Team tab. OR you can register in person at the Maple Magic Event. You will be able to use PayPal, VISA or a personal cheque.
Score for your organization!
When you register be sure to fill in the box that is your group. This could be the gym that you attend, your business, church group, service club or whatever. We are providing a prize and recognition to the organization that provides the most teams. This is a competition in itself. Join the fun!
The challenges remain a top secret this year. Just know that they are fun and varied. Your physical, mental and emotional strength will be tested!!!
Rain or shine the race goes on. Get your registration completed today and be sure that you are part of the most fun that you can pack into a half day. Race starts at 9:30. We expect all racers to be completed by 12:00. Quick lunch food will be provided. Awards will follow. Then you will be on your way. Arrive at least one hour in advance of race time as you will require enough to time to get your numbers and walk to the start location of your race. Free parking!
Please make the effort to print off the pledge sheet from the website and gather what you can in additional pledges for our Rotary Club. The Wiarton Rotary club has been providing service to our area and abroad for over 75 years. We will be providing a gift certificate award to the team that collects the most money in pledges.
Come one come all! We have lots of free parking and a cool playground in the bush at the Sugar Shack. There will be a limited offering of food to purchase so you may want to bring your own picnic basket.
As a spectator you could see a number of the challenges occurring if you don't mind doing a little walking. All children must be supervised by an adult at all times. No pets allowed as this is calving season for the Elk.
